Anti Spam Task Force and the Hong Kong Internet
Service Providers Association.
Secretary of the HKISPA
Andy Lake is the convener of the HKISPA Anti Spam Task
Force (ASTF). The taskforce spearheads the Internet
industries fight against spam. This includes lobbying
govt, speaking publicly, lobbying other ISPs and liaising
with anti spam efforts internationally. The ASTF which
includes many leading ISPs, and includes the Consumer
Council and Education representatives conducted a survey
on behalf of HKISPA and at the request of OFTA on the
status of spam in HK. The survey received a high level
of support and is the first such effort to quantify
the level of spam in HK.

 Anti
Spam Coalition
In July 2003 the Hong Kong Anti Spam coalition
was formed. This bought together high profile organisations
and industry participants such as Time Warner, Microsoft,
the Asian Digital Marketing association, and the HKISPA.
Global Orient and MailProve's Jeffrey Vong, Andy Lake
and Peter Heavyside are co founders of the coalition.
