Jeffrey Vong - CEO
Mail Prove is headed by Jeffrey Vong, a well known
expert on email and spam in Asia.
Jeffrey's expertise and reputation in Asia arises from
his experience in a global corporation and his own entrepreneurial
ventures. Prior to founding Mail Prove, Jeffrey was
Technical Consultant in Asia for Sendmail
Inc. for whom he traveled frequently to South Korea,
Singapore, Taiwan and China for project consulting and
implementation. Before that, in 1995, Jeffrey started
his own company, Internet Access HK Limited, one of
the earliest Internet Service Providers in Hong Kong.
He subsequently acquired AsiaNet Limited, a joint venture
of Asia Computer, Hong Kong City University, Dyna Laboratory
and Hanstar Capital. After one year he turned AsiaNet
from loss to profitability and the following year sold
the combined entity to PSINet.
Jeffrey was one of the founding members of Hong Kong
Internet Service Provider Association (HKISPA). He has
extensively contributed to the industry as executive
committee member over the last six years and is a cofounder
of the Hong Kong Anti Spam Coalition.
An important ingredient in the management of MailProve is the continuing involvement of Peter Heavyside of Global Orient Asia Limited .
Having raised the initial equity financing for MailProve in return for equity, Peter (Managing Director, Global Orient) participates in the Board for the governance of MailProve but also performs highly participatory advisory duties through an agreement that results in further equity allotment to Global Orient. Global Orient's equity participation evidences Global Orient conviction about the potential of MailProve.
